In Honour of the 5th annual Rebecca Schofield Day

Rebecca Schofield was a New Brunswick teen who inspired a global kindness campaign while she was battling brain cancer.
After and incredible fight going through all the treatments and finally hearing the magical words that she was cancer free, Becca found out that she had two new tumours at a routine checkup. This time they were inoperable though.
After getting that devastating news she made the brave decision to undergo additional treatment to give herself more time. Then in the face of that extreme adversity Becca asked her family and friends to help her celebrate her last ever round of radiation by doing an act of kindness for someone else.
The Schofield's had no idea that Becca's simple request would touch the world and inspire a kindness movement that quickly spread across north America. Becca soon became internationally known and even grabbed the attention of Premier Brian Gallant and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. She was also honoured by Governor General Julie Payette on behalf of the Queen with a Meritorious Service Decoration.
Before Becca even passed the legislative assembly of New Brunswick unanimously passed a motion recognizing the third Saturday of September as the official Rebecca Schofield Day in New Brunswick. Becca even got to be a part of the very first official day in 2017 and now today three and a half years later her memory lives on in the acts of kindness she continues to inspire.

Sent a Card

I was first introduced to Collin over on TikTok where his daughter Joanne starting sharing him with the world.
After finding out he had terminal esophagus cancer in May Joanne and her family busted him out of the hospital and moved him in.
They started recording him telling stories and sharing his life tips and, of course, his humour. It started out as a joke before they knew how serious his diagnosis would be, but it ended up being something positive for the family to focus on.
Collin needs for nothing at this point; it’s all about comfort now. Joanne and the rest of Collin's posse wondered how they could brighten his day. Since he loves getting, and giving) cards, they decided to get a P.O. Box so he could receive cards from his fans, and anyone who is into brightening an old guys day.

Got the next person's coffee

Ok, I know it's not very original but who doesn't love a free coffee?
I mean I guess I don't but I'm one of those rare unicorns who's doesn't drink nasty bean water because I'm high on life and don't need to be caffeinated.
I was however treating myself to a delicious sour cream glazed donut though and thought, this is the perfect opportunity for a small act of kindness.
If you're feeling inspired to do an act of kindness in Becca's Memory, which I hope you are please share it here and tag @tiffanyagnewinsipres
